The property has a very good location on the Island and was more then large enough for my wife and I and our 11 year old. It is easy to get to Hopetown, and is near restaurants. The criticism is that there is some deferred maintenance. We were unable to open all of the doors and windows, particularly in the master bedroom. While not a huge problem, we would have liked the cross ventailation. The outside deck needs some attention, as the sun (a fact I am personally aware of) is very hard on wood decks. But overall our impression was favorable, and while we are interested in exploring other locations, this is a house that we would consider returning to. Jim P.S. Mary was a delight to deal with and the staff of Hideways gets 5 stars. While we did not interact with Juliet as much, she gave us her cell # to reach her over the weekend if we had any difficulties.
Dear James,
Working with wood on the ocean is hard as the salt can really give it a beating. I have spoken to the carpenter who created the custom mahogany French doors and will see what the problem is. We did have some great cool nights for cross breezes so sorry about that.
The pool deck does get treatment once a year and maybe we should step that up!
We appreciate the comments, even the constructive criticism as it helps us keep the property perfect!
I will let the ladies in the office know you gave them 5-stars! PEG
We had a wonderful week at Seaduction. It was a great house for 3 couples.Very private yet close to everything. Golf cart is a must. We liked being out of town and our son is a surfer, so surfing was right there. The house was well furnished and very comfortable.
Dear Linda,
My son and husband both surf and that has one of their favorite breaks
I am not sure if the following link works but try it otherwise put in "you missed it" Hope Town on you tube. I sent a video to my son and his cousin Joe who missed some great surfing. You should recognize the place as it is just south of Seaduction!

The golf carts are important because at night we just don't have lighting (unless a full moon) and you want to get to restaurants or the village of Hope Town so the golf cart is great. Also if you are going boating and carrying a lot of gear - coolers, towels, dive equipment, fishing equipment, etc.
Please come back again soon, we would love to have you back on the island.
Best,
Peg & the Hope Town Hideaways gang
The layout of the house was great, my husband liked that the outside grill had a side door entrance to the kitchen for quick access to the food for grilling, etc..the bedroom where a good size, the location was great that it was so close to the abaco inn, as we had other family staying there..very convenient. the white sound communtiy dock is much closer to the home than it looks on the map. loved our stay, we will def be back at Seaduction ...just not soon enough!
Dear Amber,
I am glad you liked Seaduction. I love all the built-ins and the coral fireplace. It feels very private in the home's location though like you said you are very close to both the dock and Abaco Inn.
Elbow Cay is great but when you stay in Seaduction, it is even greater!
Let us know when you are coming back to the island!
