1B/2B (1 Double Futon in Main, 1Q in Cottage) Island style hideaway just south of Hope Town overlooking the ocean. Main house is a small efficiency style cottage with A/C in the living area with a futon double bed, full kitchen and a bathroom. Outside decks lead to a traditional Bahamian sleep-house with a queen bed and bath for additional sleeping. Sleep-house has A/C but is also surrounded by big screened in windows for cool ocean breezes and sounds. Amenities include: oceanside decks, beach front, and a private dock with harbour access, wireless internet, telephone, microwave, CD/tape-deck/iPod player, NO television. Suggest rental bikes, golf cart, or boat.
We had a great time on Elbow Cay, Abacos as usual. Hopetown Hideaways makes the trip very easy and are pleasant to work with. The ferry captain notified them on our way over from Marsh Harbor and James the caretaker was waiting at the dock for us. He got us situated in the house, showed us were everything was and made sure we were all set. We touched base before checkout, but took our golf cart to the ferry that day so he didn't need to meet us. Had a great trip, this is our third time staying with HH and will continue to do so.
Cute cottage. Great location on beach. We really enjoyed the cottage. It was perfect for us. True island experience.
Staying at the Sea Loft was wonderful! It was very clean, and the caretaker was very helpful and gracious.

James is a favorite caretaker and Sea Loft is truly a Bahamian beach house - what a wonderful beach and the boat in the creek just at the bottom of the steps - such a perfect "both worlds" vacation home.
