If you want to be conveniently located with short walks to the Settlement and short cart rides to the south end restaurants and resorts, this place is perfect. Parliament Harbour House is spacious and very well-equipped for a couple. It would probably be okay for an occasional guest or two to crash on the convertible sofa, too. What is really fantastic is the energy, friendliness, and professionalism of the Hopetown Hideaways team. They guided us through an island-wide power and cable outage, and were ready to assist with our every request.
Thank you very much! See you next year.
We fully enjoyed our week at Parliament Harbour House. For us, the location was the best feature - views of the harbour, a quick walk to the beach or Hope Town Lodge. The amenities in the house were perfect for myself, my husband, our 18-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son. It worked well for all of us! We'd definitely recommend it and consider staying there again!
We had such a great time.
We were overwhelmed by the views, the crystal clear ocean, the white, sandy, gorgeous beaches and the perfect place to stay (Parliament Harbour House).
We found ourselves perfectly being taken care of before and during our stay.
Thanks to Chris Thompson and his team. Elbow Cay and Hopetown is THE place to get away from the hustle and bustle.
Dear Christine,
I loved your comments and Parliament Harbour House is really cool as it mixes historic with modern. Of course the view is Killer!
They call it that because several of the town elders often sat on the nearby steps and discussed politics so it became the "parliament" of sorts...
Come again whenever you need a break from the hustle and bustle! Peg & Chris Thompson
