Private 2B/2B (2Q, Futon) villa overlooking Hope Town village, Hope Town Harbour and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. Lots of extras and set-up as a private home. The home has every modern amenity from dishwasher, icemaker, satellite tv, internet, etc. A great plus that makes it truly a vacation is the maid service included. Upscale linens, cooking and bakingware, as well as attention to small details like serving platters, outside dining and relaxing furniture. Games, books, and outdoor lighting. The gardens are amazing with fruit trees (papaya, advocado, tangerine, grapefruit, guava, carambola, banana, coconut, etc.) tropical flowers and native hardwood forest with nature trails. There is a private harbour beach with a fire pit, hammocks and Kayak rack. The property also offers guests a private laundry facility. The villa will hold up to a family of six - but if you have more friends and family consider reserving the entire boutique hotel.
We had a wonderful time. The Harbormaster was wonderufl, making reservations was simple, the view from the cottage was outstanding. We will be back.

What a wonderful way to end a summer. If you are looking for a peaceful place to visit this is it. The view of the bay with the boats and the village was just beautiful. Thats not saying anything about the beaches, they were clean the water was so clear and the reefs were great filled with wildlife it was just like swimming in an aquarium. The little villa we stayed in was perfect. I loved the landscaping of this property was breathtaking the lavish flowers and the fruit trees just make you stop and enjoy the moment, which is something we all need to do a little more. The locals in the village were great even had a good laugh with the postmaster. The little shops were tucked away in the origanal homesteads. The shop keepers were friendly, helpful and even trusting, when i when to get and ice cream cone from Munchies all i had was a $20. the kind man did not have change since it had just opened so he told me to come back later and pay, granted it was just a dollar but where in the states has any shop keeper said that to you?So when you need to leave the world behind you go excape to a world of beauty with awesome beaches, fresh seafood, great town folks. I have already started my change jar for my return trip to Hopetown Hideaways. Thanks again to Peggy and her family for building this wonderful place so that others could share in there awesome everyday life they live on this beautiful island.This is a trip that Bruce and i will always remember.Fondly the Kesters

I loved your review, especially your Munchies' story -- Norris is the owner and operator and he is an excellent chef. He also caters so next time if you bring more folks, he will cook for you and it is delicious local cuisine and the price is also great! But of course it is also easy to just get takeaway from the little Munchies.
The Hideaways have been a great adventure for us and we have met so many kind folks over the years - some have become lifelong friends. This little piece of land floating around in the ocean is very special and it attracts special people - like you and Bruce!
Come see us again soon USAIR has a direct flight from Orlando now but of course Airgate is doing a great job and New Smyrna is so close (no security lines, bring pets, no charge for leaving ;your car in parking lot, scenic flight in great planes) but just gives you
Wonderful place to stay, quite and secluded. This is our second time and will make a third.

The Hope Town Hideaways Villas are very cool because you are in the middle of the village and yet it is like being on a private island.

We had the most wonderful adventure in Hope Town! Hope Town Hideaways is so beautiful, you won't believe it. The coolest part is Peggy takes care of everything...you don't know what your are missing if you don't have her plan your trip. She thinks of everything....they grow all sorts of things on the proeprty - Francis brought us the tiniest little bananas from the grove and they were delicious also the biggest advocados I ever saw. We will be back - we liked having our rental boat just behind our house - we were always going places by boat. Thank you Hideaways! Julie & Sam, etc. - the Lobster gang - we had so many we got sick of eating lobster!
