A wraparound deck gives all en suite bedrooms accessibility to pool and beach. Large Anderson sliding doors frame the Ocean in the two masters (King, Queen). Second and third bedrooms enjoy serene garden views (2 Doubles, Queen) but private deck leads them to pool and beach. All bedrooms include a private sitting area, deck entrance and 10-ft ceilings. Upstairs is a semi-enclosed loft (2 Queen futons). A dream room for children, teens or the odd guest and includes TV w/DVD player, game table and board games and even a view of Ocean. Loft designed to give a sense of privacy from the main house. Living room boasts a wall of windows dramatizing the 18-foot ceilings and capturing all the water views. Very comfortable seating with island accents, large screen TV with satellite receiver and DVD player complete with movie collection. The owners are avid readers so guests enjoy a lovely book collection. In the heart of this wonderful home is the kitchen with island. It is a gourmets delight featuring all stainless steel appliances, separate wine/beverage fridge, filtered reverse osmosis drinking water, side-by-side fridge and freezer with ice and water dispenser. Guests love the high quality pots and pans and all kitchen gadgets (ex. Cuisinart) and ensures chefs are happy by even stocking popular cooking spices. Large dining room table with all the amenities for hosting the best dinner parties in Abaco! To make the stay even more enjoyable, you can pack light as the owner invites you to use the washer and dryer (rare in these rainwater collecting islands!). They also have a back-up, whole house generator just in case there are any island wide power outages. There is a VHF radio as well as telephone for your convenience. The pool area transitions the home from the tropically landscaped yard (lots of palms and of course hibiscus!) to the cascading dunes, tidal pools and offshore reefs. The deck beckons guests with furnishings for alfresco dining, reading, relaxing, sunning or napping. There is a latticed covered outside shower. An oversized gas BBQ, screened entry porch with 2 ceiling fans and rattan settee, complete this island home. Truly the perfect home for 4 couples or 2 families with children as the large floor plan and ample bedding create a luxurious and fun home for everyone. The house and location are great. It would be nice to have some shade on the east deck.

It is a great beach and pool house. I agree with you regarding the shade and I believe the homeowner did have two big canvas umbrellas - I will double check to see if the hurricane ate them and they need to be replaced or whatever but I promise next time you come we will have some shade for you so you can enjoy that beach deck even longer.
