2B/2B (1K, 1Q, Futon) Beach house with pool! Home has two balconies to enjoy sunrises over the Atlantic Ocean or Hope Town Harbour sunsets. The kitchen is a dream for the gourmet chef featuring stainless Steel GE profile appliances including dishwasher, blender, microwave and showcases a large island with Granite countertops. The island is a focal point for gatherings of family and friends and doubles as a dining table. Guests also enjoy alfresco dining area on the covered deck. You are within walking distance of numerous waterfront restaurants and pubs. Lounge chairs beckon you to the pool deck overlooking the pinky-white sand beach and the string of islands to the south. This gracious home is reminiscent of a Key West or Southern plantation home, with large covered balconies complete with rockers and lounge chairs - nap anyone? Blue Heaven boasts the usual modern amenities like air-conditioning but then goes to the next level -- sharing owner's xm radio, DVD player and lots of movies. Guests also enjoy books and games as well as a desk-area w/ VHF radio. The home is designed for two couples or extended families. Children have options of day beds and top of the line air mattresses. The home can sleep up to 6 as long as 2 don't mind a blow-up mattress or children on a daybed mattress. The Master Suite of Blue Heaven is truly one of the home's best features, literally offering the masters the entire top floor with King bed. The suite includes full bath, mini kitchen with wet bar, sitting area and two balconies -- each balcony with a unique view. The first is of Hope Town Harbour with its historic lighthouse and boats coming to and fro, and the other is overlooking the ocean, beach and pool. The hand-carved bed, pile of decorative pillows and upscale linens encourage guests to sleep in and relax! There is a day bed that serves as a child's bed (though the owner suggests taking mattress down to lower level for ultimate privacy or utilizing the top of the line inflatable air beds for the children.) The Guest Suite is a Queen with access to a full bath on same level. The home is exceptional, architecturally designed to capture the views and light, it has a bright airy feeling of the islands with great antique West Indies look, furniture, marble tiling, lots of windows and ceiling fans throughout. The freestanding (no center pole) mahogany staircase was crafted in Maine and is lovely, adding an artsy feel to this waterfront rental home. Deck and mini tropical gardens surround the home. Snorkeling to live reefs in crystal clear water is just steps from your pool deck. From your beach in the back yard you can walk to the Hope Town Harbour Lodge with its myriad activities. Blue Heaven is truly one of the island's most desirable addresses. Don't delay in booking so you will not be disappointed. Can also be coupled with Coral Reef House, Plantation Beach House, The Steps,and Inis Mo Chroi, if additional houses are needed nearby for friends and family.
