Overlooking the best snorkeling and swimming beach; with its crystal clear waters, the coral heads glow with color in the sunlight.This home was custom designed and built by local craftsman, offers: 4 full master suites with bath, open living area with 1st floor powder room, laundry room with full size washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen and game room, ample exterior open and covered decks for outdoor entertaining, including a 3rd floor observation deck with views out to the Sea of Abaco and the candy striped lighthouse. The interior is well appointed with designer tropical furnishings and fixtures including Tommy Bahama and Capris.The 1st floor master suite is very inviting with a private entrance leading to the wrap around porch, enjoying views of the tropical gardens and Atlantic Ocean. This bedroom also includes open and airy 10 foot ceilings with tropical bamboo furnishings and a king size canopy bed cooled by a Tommy Bahama ceiling fan. The 2nd floor has 2 oceanfront master suites, each with cathedral ceilings, equipped with Tommy Bahama ceiling fans and tropical king size beds. Both suites offer a private ocean front deck shaded by tall coconut palms. Sit and enjoy the incredible views of the ocean and beaches. The fourth master suite is also on the 2nd floor. This suite has tall dormers, cathedral ceilings with a Tommy Bahama ceiling fan, a tropical queen size bed and wonderful views of Hope Town’s harbor, tropical gardens and the Atlantic Ocean.Walk up the stairs to the 3rd floor turret and out onto the upper deck, which is large enough for entertaining, with unobstructed views of the Hope Town candy striped lighthouse. It feels as though you are at the top of Hope Town, looking over the harbor and outbound to the blue and turquoise waters of the Sea of Abaco. Sit in the evening for beautiful sunsets. At night the Hope Town harbor glows with lights from the village and the lighthouse (one of the only three lighthouses in the world that is powered by kerosene illuminating the night sky. Private Boat Slips in Nigh Creek. Guest cottage is the “Harpoon House”, rightly named after the whaling harpoon that was unearthed from the site during reconstruction. This site is believed to have been the oldest house in Hope Town. It was formerly named, the “Wyannie Malone Museum” house, after the settlement’s founder. The new structure was replicated as closely as possible, retaining the loyalist type architecture used in Hope Town and most of the Abaco Islands. It offers a living area, dining area and complete kitchen (all with ocean views), and a powder room, on the 1st floor. The 2nd floor has 2 queen sized bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Both bedrooms have wonderful views of the Atlantic Ocean, tropical gardens and/or Hope Town harbor water views.Both homes are equipped with a freshwater RO system, as well as an automatic backup generator to supply enough power for all electrical functions in the event of a power outage.
