Description

Tilloo Bank is more than a sand bar and is literally two football fields of flats and sand banks. A playground in the water – just anchor and swim around the boat or better yet, just tie a few lines off the boat (we even put floating dragons and dolphins when the kids were small) and swim along as your boat drifts while the family snorkels. The children are sure to find lots of treasure (shells, sand dollars, sea biscuits – remember only take the dead white bleached ones!) in water ranging from 2 feet to 6 feet. In photos it looks like you are in a pool the water is so blue and the bottom so white. Though it has no reefs and little sea weed or plants, this is also a great area to enjoy sea life like sting rays, giant star fish and dolphin.
