Munchies is a little takeaway food stop, popular with the locals. I often order ahead and then send one of the kids to pick up the best Bahamian Fried Chicken you have ever had! The price is right too. There are ice cream cones, cold drinks and an informal hangout for children. I sometimes take a book and let the kids run around until our conch fritters, grilled fish, chicken nuggets, etc. are pass through the small window. You can also get a mean hamburger or conch burger and even a tuna fish sandwich - quite handy if you are packing a picnic - just grab the chips. Munchies hours are great too as they cook in the in between times when they other restaurants are preparing for dinner, Munchies is still serving. They are open for lunch and dinner, 7 days and don't close until after 9 p.m. Norris is also popular as a Bahamian chef. He caters private parties, wedding receptions, etc.
