Tour our quaint Historic harbour and see the beach where the settlers first landed, kayak over to the candy striped lighthouse and adventure down creeks at the rear of the Harbour. Take a look at our starfish and sting rays in White Sound while weaving around our mangroves. We can then stop to bask in the sun at one of the many small beaches in the Sound or just cool off in the clear blue waters. The famous Tahiti Beach is only a short paddle to the south of White Sound and along the way you'll drift over patch reef, sandy bottoms and sea grass beds, each thriving with life. For the more experienced kayakers, calm days offer the opportunity to kayak along a portion of the Abaco barrier reef, the second longest in the Bahamas. You can cruise along the beaches of Hope Town, stopping at a secluded spot, or bring your snorkel gear with you and jump over to take a closer look at the coral and fish that are swimming just below you.
